LANDRACE STRAINS

ORIGINS & APPLICATIONS

HIMALAYAN INDICA

Brought to Maine in 1996 from a Trek in Nepal which gathered a batch of seeds with backgrounds ranging from the Himalayan Highlands around 7,000' elevation, to areas near Tibet where cannabis grew in the summer on slopes as high as 16,000'.

Like many other Himalayan strains the buddhist influence is apparent in its effects.  A culture which avoids emotional excess and seeks a grounding, awakening connection to the natural world cultivates medicines which similar attributes.

One of our absolute all time favorites, its been commonly used to relieve migraines, abate ADHD symptoms and provide pain relief with mental clarity for many since our beginnings.

blueberry nepal

An original phenotype identified and separated from the '96 Nepal seeds, originating from the Himalayan Highlands, lower elevations than its indica-structure dominant fellow tourists. BBN is a long season Sativa strain with deep blue-green foliage, robust flower and long colas, and an amazing aroma that starts like Bazooka Gum and ends like blueberries.  We crossed the original pheno once several generations back with Great White Hype, an early pre-Bungladetch Seeds strain, which was a roughly 2:1 CBD strain that arose from a cross of Penny Wise and Lucky Charm.  Subsequently bred back into itself.

Commonly used for daytime relief from symptoms of anxiety, pain or depression, and one of the ingredients in our ever popular yellow Sativa gelcaps, commonly used to replace pharmaceuticals prescribed from depression or anxiety.

Another of our own and SKMS client's favorites.
