S.K.M.S. growing methods are founded on a respect for environmental variation inherent to medicinal plants' genetic memories. If there's a most important environmental vector for medicinal plants, soil may be it. It is their roots, their connection, and the material source of all they do. Plants communicate and read the environment thru their roots. They do this thru microbial populations- the microbes growing in the soil facilitate communication, and are in a sense the 'internet for plant roots'.
Enabling responses from plants instead of giving them no or static information, doesn't just make them healthier, it enables them to respond at all- to provide their best genetic responses developed over centuries, if not millennia.
We firmly believe in living soil, and that sterile soil is a bit like growing a baby in a test tube, unlikely to produce dynamic results. Living soil means it is alive, no sterile flushes run thru it, actual black rich organic sourced and allowed to develop over time, undisturbed, just replanted, and only fortified with natural real from the earth ingredients, no man made fertilizers.

There is more than just 'clean HEPA filtered air' to indoor AIQ with plants. They are extremely perceptive of air vibration and air content. Plants read the actions of nearby plants, and will respond. Closed environments even with highly filtered and some fresh air, can enable unnatural levels of perceived behaviors- essentially one plant is told its neighbor is starting to do something, like flower, but is told it hundreds of times in a row, as would not happen in the open air of outdoors, likely convincing the plant that there are so many happily propagating neighbors that life is unusually good, and there's no real need to try very hard.
Actually eliciting the best from cannabis plants can be a very careful concoction of ever changing variables, which is truly never perfect and always capable of improvement.
